PRIMITIF


Primitif is a 1978 Indonesian horror film directed by Sisworo Gautama Putra, and starring Enny Haryono, Barry Prima, and Johann Mardjono.

Three college students and their guide decide to get into the jungle to search and study some primitive tribes. When they arrive in a strange village, they think the tribe isn't primitive enough, and that they need to find some real savages, maybe even locate a legendary cannibal tribe still living in the area. However, on their way to explore they have a raft accident and Robert and Rita get stranded in the jungle. Soon, they are captured by the savages and are held prisoners; without any chance of escaping, they trust in Tommy, their friend, to come and save them.

VISITOR Q


Visitor Q is a 2001 Japanese film directed by Takashi Miike, and starring Ken'ichi Endô, Shungiku Uchida, Kazushi Watanabe, Jun Mutô, and Fujiko.

The film is one of the most disturbing and taboo-bashing experimental works from acclaimed Japanese director Takashi Miike. The film tells about a very dysfunctional family, with a prostitute daughter, a bullied son who beats up his mom, a drug addict mother, and a father whose job has made him become obsessed with weird human behavior. One day, unexpectedly, the father comes home with a nameless guy who ends up changing everybody's life.

2022 TSUNAMI


2022 Tsunami is a 2009 Thai drama|disaster film directed by Toranong Srichua, and starring Prinya Wongsilp, Chumporn Teppitak, Suchao Pongwilai, and Pisarn Srimunkhong.

In the year 2022 the Thailand tsunami warning system starts having evidence of a possible world wide disaster caused by volcanic eruption and earthquakes. Doctor Siam, one of the chief scientists at the center, manages to make accurate forecasts but fails to convince a prompt evacuation of many cities. At 09.45 AM on 13 April, 2022, earthquakes happen at the same time all around the world, followed by many big tsunamis, leaving thousands of deaths.

YOGA


Yoga is a 2009 South Korean horror film directed by Jae-yeon Yun, and starring Yoo Jin, Cha Su-yeo, and Jo Eun-ji.

One day, after meeting an old friend, Hyo-jung, decides to go to a strange Yoga academy to get some help with her appearance. Upon arriving at the institute, she is welcomed by a mysterious woman who tells Hyo-jung about certain rules to follow during the week-long intensive training. The rules are: 1. Don't eat, 2. Don't take showers within an hour after the class, 3. Don't look at the mirror, 4. Don't speak of the program outside the building, 5. Don't call anyone. As the training progresses some girls decide to break some rules, and one by one they start to disappear. At the end only one of them will be able to make it to the last day and thus reach Kundalini and discover the real beauty.

HOSPITAL


Hospital is a 2005 Thai horror film directed by Pipat Jomkoh, and starring Pimalrat Pisalyabutra, Werapahp Supahppaibul, Apisada Kruakongka, and Jaturong Kolimart.

Three friends decide to go on a trip to the countryside; but one of them starts to tell ghost stories and scares the driver who ends up crashing the car against a truck. Once they wake up at the hospital, two of them discover that there is something that is no going quite well at the place. Some of the residents of the hospital look rather ghastly and the friends begin to fear for their lives. However, the truth about the hospital is far more gruesome that they can imagine.

THE UNTOLD STORY


The Untold Story is a 1993 Hong Kong crime|horror film directed by Danny Lee and Herman Yau, and starring Anthony Wong Chau-Sang, Danny Lee, and Emily Kwan.

After a Mahjong game, Wong Chi Hang starts a fight against one of his play-mates and ultimately kills him. Then, he becomes the owner of a restaurant called the Eight Immortals that was property of the man he brutally killed. However, Wong killing spree doesn't stop there, and every time he has a problem he seems to be willing to solve it in the same way. Later on, as the police receive the report of some locals being missing, Wong becomes the main suspect in the events as all of the victims had a certain connection with his restaurant. Although Wong's got everything well planned and it doesn't seem to be any evidence connecting him with the victims, chief officer Lee thinks that Wong has more to tell than he's telling the police.

DR. LAMB


Dr. Lamb is a 1992 Hong Kong crime|horror film directed by Danny Lee and Hin Sing 'Billy' Tang, and starring Danny Lee, and Kent Cheng.

The film tells about a mentally unstable taxi driver, who after developing some gruesome pictures, is captured by the police. Soon after, the suspect is charged with cold blooded murder since it appears that all of the pictures depicting dead and tortured women are real.

HELLEVATOR


Hellevator (a.k.a. The Bottled Fools) is a 2004 Japanese Sci-Fi|horror film written and directed by Hiroki Yamaguchi, and starring Luchino Fujisaki, Yoshiichi Kawada, Ryôsuke Koshiba, and Kae Minami.

Luchino, a trouble making girl, is on her way to school when she's stopped by the police as she is suspected to have been smoking in a forbidden area. On her way to the upper levels she finds herself sharing the elevator with strange looking people. But things become even weirder when the elevator stops at an irregular floor and two crazy-looking convicts are dragged in by the police. As the elevator keeps going up, the two prisoners manage to loosen their chains and start harassing and threatening the rest of the passengers. Fearing for her life Luchino decides to do something to calm the inmates down. However, her methods are a little bit unorthodox.

SAKEBI


Sakebi (a.k.a. Retribution) is a 2006 Japanese psychological thriller written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, and starring Kôji Yakusho, Manami Konishi, Tsuyoshi Ihara, and Riona Hazuki .

Detective Yoshioka is in charge of investigating a homicide. During the investigations, he discovers that the victim, despite having been drowned in a pond, had sea water in the stomach. From that point on, everything detective Yoshioka finds, including a loose coat button, seems to point at him as the main suspect; however, he doesn't seem to remember any connection or close relationship with the victim.

Kadokawa Horror Collection is a 2007 Japanese horror anthology. It contains four unrelated full-length movies, directed by different directors.

1. Shikoku (a.k.a. Land Of The Dead) is a 1999 Japanese thriller directed by Shunichi Nagasaki and starring Yui Natsukawa, Michitaka Tsutsui, and Chiaki Kuriyama.

2. Isola: Multiple Personality Girl (a.k.a. Isola: Persona 13) is a 2000 Japanese psychological thriller directed by Toshiyuki Mizutani and starring Yoshino Kimura, Ken Ishiguro, and Yû Kurosawa.

3. Shadow Of The Wraith is a 2001 Japanese horror film directed by Toshiharu Ikeda, and starring Kôji Matsuo, Yuichi Matsuo, Asumi Miwa, and Hitomi Miwa.

4. Inugami is a 2002 Japanese fantasy drama co-written and directed by Masato Harada, and starring Yûki Amami, Atsuro Watabe, Eugene Harada, and Shiho Fujimura. In Japanese culture, Inugami means literally Dog God.

Right after Akira, the teacher from Tokyo, arrives in a small rural town to begin his new job, he meets, and begins to fall for, Miki. She is a local papermaker and belongs to a large and unusual family. Soon, Akira learns about an ancient legend that is carried by Miki's family that says that they bear the curse of the Inugami. As their relationship becomes stronger, weird things begin to happen around them; believing that the only way to stop the curse is killing Miki, the town's people decide to start looking for her to get rid of her and hence the evil spirits she embraces.

SHADOW OF THE WRAITH


Shadow Of The Wraith is a 2001 Japanese horror film directed by Toshiharu Ikeda, and starring Kôji Matsuo, Yuichi Matsuo, Asumi Miwa, and Hitomi Miwa.

The film is divided into two somewhat related parts.

Part One - High School: In this story, a young girl, with the ability to leave her body, starts stalking one of her classmates. However, since the boy seems little interested in her, people around him start to die in mysterious circumstances.

Part Two - The Hollow Stone: the second story is about a young girl and her family who just moved to their new apartment. But ever since they moved, creepy things start to happen, including a closet that seems to be haunted by the spirit of a little child.

HAEUNDAE


Tidal Wave (a.k.a. Haeundae) is a 2009 South Korean thriller|disaster movie written and directed by Je-gyun Yun, and starring Kyung-gu Sol, Ji-won Ha, Joong-Hoon Park, and Jeong-hwa Eom.

The film revolves around the inhabitants of a very crowded and populated South Korean area named Haeundae. Right after the 2004 South Asian Tsunami, a lot of phenomena kept happening beneath the ocean surface around South Korea and Japan. Scientist discover that a portion of a nearest island is about to collapse and as a result there will be a "Mega-Tsunami" that could easily wipe out the whole area around Haeundae. Despite the scientist prediction, the beach is not evacuated until the last minute which causes a terrible disaster that will have everybody running for their lives.

UNBORN BUT FORGOTTEN


Unborn But Forgotten is a 2002 South Korean suspense film directed by Chang-jae Lim, and starring Jun-ho Jeong, Eun-ju Lee, and Ji-yu Kim.

After a lot of pregnant women start to die mysteriously, TV hostess Han Su-jin along with detective Choi decide to investigate what lies behind the deaths. It seems that there is a certain relationship between the dead women and a certain web page about a now nonexistent hospital. However, when Su-jin discovers that she is also pregnant, she accidentally access the page and finds out that every woman that has logged into it has died fifteen days later. It is then up to her and detective Choi to find out what is going on before it is too late for Su-jin.

Ghost Photos: The Cursed Images is a 2006 Japanese horror film.

Toshiko, a high school student, and her brother find a camera in their grandfather's bedroom. Later on, she receives a message to her cell phone from her brother; in this message there is a mysterious picture of a dark forest where an unknown woman is standing. From that moment on, strange things begin to happen to Toshiko, including visions of a strange looking girl. She decides to talk to one of her best friends about it and she tells Toshiko that there is an urban legend about a girl lost in a forest. Soon, Tashiko discovers that there is more about the legend than she actually knows, and it is closer to her than she can imagine.
