ARANG

Arang is a 2006 South Korean horror film directed by Ahn Sang-hoon, and starring Kim Hae-in, Jeong Won-joong, Song Yoon-ah, and Lee Dong-wook.

So-young a young detective is back on duty after being suspended for some time due to an incident involving a suspect. She is assigned a rookie detective as her new partner. Their first case together is an incendiary homicide case. While Hyun-gi, the young new partner, is all the time goofing around and distracting So-young, she, on the other hand, senses that there is something wrong in the case as it seems that there is something else involved. Later on, they discover that their current case is somehow related to the mysterious death of a girl ten years ago. Now, So-young starts to experience weird nightmares in which a girl in white appears before her. As the serial killings continue, So-young is hinted towards a common pattern in the cases which will eventually uncover a much horrible secret.
