SCHOOL DAY OF THE DEAD
School Day Of The Dead is a 2000 Japanese suspense/drama film directed by Tetsuo Shinohara, and starring Thane Camus, Kyôko Fukada, and Shuntaro Hani. The film is based on a novel by Jirô Akagawa.
Right after one of their classmates committed suicide, some students decide to put on a play written by the deceased girl. The play is based upon a tragic and mysterious legend about a love affair between two teachers at the school long time ago. But it seems that there is some strange secret about the story; and some girls, who accidentally stumble over some information regarding the legend, start to die mysteriously. It seems that all of the deaths, including the girl that committed suicide, are linked. Among the students in the play is Machiko Yuki, a close friend of all the dead girls who despite her friends dying decides to go ahead with the play and find out the truth behind it.
