Sorum is a 2001 South Korean drama/suspense film directed by Jong-chan Yun, and starring Jin-Young Jang, and Myeong-min Kim.
A taxi driver moves into a creepy old apartment complex that seems just adequate for his simple life. Later on, he discovers that his apartment was previously inhabited by a man who burned to death in his room. However, the fact doesn't seem to bother the young taxi driver. After he meets the woman that lives across the hall from him and who endures daily beatings from her husband, things become less monotonous for him. Both of them know about the brutal murder that occurred about 30 years ago within the walls of this building and mysteriously is touching on all their lives.
