SUSUK
Susuk is a 2008 Malaysian suspense/horror film directed by Amir Muhammad and Naeim Ghalili; and starring Ida Nerina, Diana Rafar, Adlin Aman Ramlee, and Hairie Othman.
The film follows the life of two seemingly different women. In the first place, Soraya, a young nurse who is beginning to feel a little disaffected by her own life. As a chance to be introduced to the world of glamour piques her earlier ambition to be a star, she does not succeed at first, but she is told that the forbidden practice of Susuk can help. However, on her way to succeeding, she has to make a dessision whether to stay the way she is, or cross a misterious line that devides reallity and unhuman life. In the second place, Suzana, a successful and misterious diva with a terrible secret. She has been a practitioner of the black arts and magic for too long. She has apparently succeeded due to her use of a extreme form of Susuk named Keramat. But beauty has a price, and every time Suzana violates a certain taboo, a human life is required to be sacrificed. It will finally come a moment in which the lives of these two women will come cross and the story will get to the true secret of this dreaded charm.
