THE EYE 10


The Eye 10 is a 2005 Hong Kong/Thai horror/comedy film directed by the Pang Brothers (Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang) and starring Isabella Leong, Bo-lin Chen, Ray MacDonald, Kate Yeung, Yu Gu, and Bongkoj Khongmalai. Despite the number 10 in its name, the film is actually the third installment in The Eye movie trilogy. The movie takes place after the events in The Eye and The Eye 2.

The film tells about five teenagers who come across and read a book titled The Ten Encounters, which explains 10 different methods for seeing the dead. Hence, the name of the film. While visiting a friend in Thailand, a group of youngsters from Hong Kong decide to play with Thai's beliefs about seeing the dead. Chongkwai, their Thai friend, shows them a mysterious book he bought that details ten ways to see spirits and all of them decide to follow the procedures. But when one of them vanishes, one of the girls tries to find him, and the rest prefer to run back to Hong Kong to escape a possible curse. But the spirits do not leave them and insist to play with them even back in their homeland. As the girl that stayed at Thailand is reported missing, the two youngsters who went back to Hong Kong decide to return to Thailand to try to stop seeing ghosts and find their missing friends.

THE EYE 2


The Eye 2 is a 2004 Hong Kong horror film directed by Danny Pang and Oxide Pang Chun, and starring Qi Shu, Eugenia Yuan, and Jesdaporn Pholdee. The film is the official sequel, although in name only, to the 2002 film The Eye.

During a visit in Thailand, Joey, a Hong Kong woman, decides to OD on pills but ends up going to the hospital and being saved. However, things are not really better for Joey now as according to Thai's beliefs, a person who tries to commit suicide is hunted by the spirits of the dead; and that's precisely what happens to Joey. When back in her native Hong Kong, Joey discovers she is pregnant, but when trying to get in touch with the baby's father, she doesn't get any answer. Besides all of her current problems, she also keeps seeing ghost everywhere, but more recurrently the spirit of a woman. After further investigation, Joey discovers that the spirit is that of her ex-boyfriend's wife and that there is a connection between the woman and her future baby.

THE NIGHT WATCHMAN; directed by Akio Yoshida.
The watchmen at an abandoned building keep resigning after the first night of work. Only of them remains in the place to welcome the new comers.

WISPS OF SMOKE; directed by Kosuke Suzuki.
Three girls on a field trip get lost in the dark roads. A strange sound comes from deep in the woods and the three of them have to learn the hard way that smoking kills.

GLOVES; directed by Hirohisa Sasaki.
Every night when she falls asleep, a young girl starts to feel that a pair of gloved hands begin to strangle her.

A woman wakes up in the middle of the night after feeling a heavy weight sitting on her chest.

THE EYE


The Eye is a 2002 Hong Kong horror film co-written and directed by The Pang Brothers, and starring Angelica Lee.

Wong Kar Mun (Angelica Lee) gets a cornea transplant so that she would be able to see again as she has been blind since she was two years old. However, as she starts to use her eyes for the first time, she realizes that she has got more than she was expecting to receive. After a while she finds out that she is able to see the dead. She the decides to ask her therapist about the strange apparitions she has been seeing through her new eyes. At the beginning, he seems reluctant to believe her, but later he admits that he cares about her and decides to accompany her on a trip to find the origins of her cornea and to reveal the history of the previous owner.

RED EYE


Red Eye is a 2005 South Korean horror movie directed by Dong-bin Kim, and starring Shin-yeong Jang, Ji-min Kwak, Dong-kyu Lee, Hye-na Kim, and Eol Lee.

The midnight train seems to have a whole bunch of secrets that none of its passengers appear to be aware of. As a new stewardess joins the crew for the night shift, she soon realizes there are some creepy things going on. Soon, the passengers begin to die and the crew seem clueless about what is happening inside the train. Later on, it seems that the current events have some sort of connection to the crash of the same train that occurred some years ago. The now spooky train is taking everybody on a collision course and it is up to the remaining members of the crew, including Oh Mi-sun, the new stewardess, to stop it.

DEVIL EYE

Devil Eye is a 2001 Hong Kong horror film directed by Man Kei Chin, and starring Cindy Au, Iris Chai, Tat-Ming Cheung, and Ann Ng.

A group of friends decide to leave their native Hong Kong and embark on a field trip to Thailand. During their very first day in the streets of Bangkok, one of the girls is filming the landmarks and monuments around the city and accidentally ends up recording how a woman is mugged and ultimately thrown in front of a car that runs her over and kills her. From that very first moment the girl is tormented by the spirit of the dead girl who lures her into a dark alley where she encounters the assassin and is killed by the same man. At the end it seems that it is up to the friends of the dead girl to find out who the assassin is in order to avenge their friend.

SUNDO

Sundo is a 2009 Filipino suspense|horror film directed by Topel Lee, and starring Robin Padilla, Sunshine Dizon and Rhian Ramos.

The film tells about Romano, a young man who has just healed after a terrible accident. Soon after he returns to to his hometown in Baguio, things change as Louella, an ex-girlfriend of his, pays a visit and suggests a peace offering, due to a family feud years back. The aid consists in helping Romano’s blind sister Isabel with the money for an eye operation.
Everybody accepts the offering and they decide to go to Manila. On their way to the city, Romano has a premonition and he believes something odd will happen, possibly a horrific accident. The group decides to seek help from a local witch who confirms that Romano can see everybody's  Sundo (the ghost of a dead person who comes back to take one of their beloved to the other world), and they can not escape their fate. However, it seems that Romano has found a way to get rid of their curse, but they soon realize that the price they have to pay for gambling with the spirits is the hardest and most ruthless battle they will ever come across.

MAREBITO


Marebito is a 2004 Japanese horror movie directed by Takashi Shimizu, and starring Shinya Tsukamoto and Tomomi Miyashita.

Masuoka (Shinya Tsukamoto) is a cameraman who carries a camera wherever he goes. One day he becomes obsessed with the idea of fear and horror after seeing a frightened man shove a knife in his eye to commit suicide.
Trying to find the physical component of terror, Masuoka finds a mysterious tunnel that takes him to the underground. There Masuoka learns about a supposedly existing race of robots who terrify people both beneath the Earth and on the surface; on his way down, he finds a strange naked woman and decides to rescue her and take her with him to the surface.
Soon after, Masuoka discovers that F, as he called the girl, can survive only on blood. At the beginning, he is capable of taking care of her by providing her with animal carcasses, but later he begins to kill people to collect the necessary blood to feed her.
Later on, he will discover the real nature of his guest and his own reason to be obsessed with terror and fear.

THE THIRD EYE


The Third Eye is a 2006 Hong Kong suspense|drama film directed by Miu-suet Lai, and starring Race Wong, You-Nam Wong, and Kwok Cheung Tsang.

Zhang Liang is a young man who doesn't seem to be able to maintain any proper job. He moves into a rundown motel, and quietly installs surveillance equipment in some places. His secret hobby is to play with high-tech candid technology, especially to secretly take pictures of his neighbors. He likes to upload the photographs on the Internet where he can win points for the quality of his pictures. However, what he finds in his new home is a cast of seemingly normal but potentially dangerous characters, each of them with their own strange secrets.

Tomie: The Final Chapter - Forbidden Fruit is a 2002 Japanese horror film directed by Shun Nakahara, and starring Nozomi Ando and Aoi Miyazaki.

Tomie Hashimoto is a teenage school girl who finds refuge from her boring reality in her writing of horror stories in which she imagines herself as a vampire named Ann Bathory. Tomie is a lonely girl who keeps being picked on and bullied by four of her classmates. One day, she meets a beautiful girl named also Tomie; the strange girl has a mole under her left eye and becomes friends with Tomie immediately. Later on it becomes clear that the meeting of the two girls is not casual, and that Tomie Kawakami has some plans regarding Tomie Hashimoto and her father.
