FUTAGO

Futago is a 2005 Hong Kong horror film directed by Yuen Man Fung, and starring Tony Ho, Emily Kwan and Samuel Pang.

The film revolves around the story of the inhabitants of a rundown apartment building in Hong Kong. They think they new person who has just arrived in the place is the vengeful ghost of a former occupant who dissapear some time ago. When the strange girl arrives, she instead claims to be the twin sister of the missing girl. However. right after the girl's arrival, people at the building begin to die one by one. Later on, a detective is hired to start an  investigation. At first it looks as though everybody has committed suicide, but it is later revealed that their apparent suicides has much to do with their karma about a certain something they did than with random occurrences.

DREAM HOME

Dream Home is a 2010 Hong Kong slasher|horror film directed by Pang Ho-cheung, and starring Josie Ho, Eason Chan, and Anthony Wong Chau-Sang.

The films tells the story of the young woman searching for her dream home. Ever since she was a child, Cheng became obsessed with the idea of having an apartment in a complex with a beautiful view across the bay as the one her folks had. In the present, she works hard to make her dreams to come true. However, when the realtor tells her that prices have increased considerably in the area, she becomes really frustrated as she knows she can no longer afford the home she has worked so hard for. Devastated, Cheng decides to start a strange campaign to lower property prices in the area so that she can find something she can afford. What she decides to do, of course, is to go on a killing spree in some of the apartment buildings; slaughtering, cutting, chopping, impaling and slicing guards and tenants alike.

CHINESE TORTURE CHAMBER STORY 2

Chinese Torture Chamber Story 2 is a 1998 Hong Kong drama|adventure film directed by Kin-Nam Cho, and starring Mark Cheng, Wai Lam, and Yolinda Yam.

While taking a bath in the river, Ma Sun Yee realizes he’s being robbed by the Wong Chung and Cheung Man Cheong, two local inept thieves. However, convinced by Ma's compassion for their predicament, Wong and Cheung invite him into their house. There, he meets Wong's sister, and Cheung's future wife, Lotus. Ma immediately falls in love with the girl; but nobody suspects that he bears a dark secret. Nevertheless, the three men pledge an alliance. Later, all of a sudden, Ma turns into a very changed man as he becomes governor. With Lotus in his mind, he takes the brothers in arms, setting up a scheme to get rid of his attackers and ultimately fulfill his own deviant sexual ambitions.

A Chinese Torture Chamber Story is a 1994 Hong Kong drama|black comedy film directed by Bosco Lam, and starring Julie Lee, Siu-Kei Lee, and Yvonne Yung Hung.

A young woman is hired to work for a rich guy as one of his many servants. The master's wife immediately becomes jealous of the new girl due to her man constantly looking at her mainly because of her tiny feet. The wife then decides to murder the servant's future husband and blame it on her own husband and the new servant-girl. Once caught, both the master and the young girl become the victims of terrible tortures applied by the tribunal in charge of the case.

DEVIL EYE

Devil Eye is a 2001 Hong Kong horror film directed by Man Kei Chin, and starring Cindy Au, Iris Chai, Tat-Ming Cheung, and Ann Ng.

A group of friends decide to leave their native Hong Kong and embark on a field trip to Thailand. During their very first day in the streets of Bangkok, one of the girls is filming the landmarks and monuments around the city and accidentally ends up recording how a woman is mugged and ultimately thrown in front of a car that runs her over and kills her. From that very first moment the girl is tormented by the spirit of the dead girl who lures her into a dark alley where she encounters the assassin and is killed by the same man. At the end it seems that it is up to the friends of the dead girl to find out who the assassin is in order to avenge their friend.

THE UNTOLD STORY


The Untold Story is a 1993 Hong Kong crime|horror film directed by Danny Lee and Herman Yau, and starring Anthony Wong Chau-Sang, Danny Lee, and Emily Kwan.

After a Mahjong game, Wong Chi Hang starts a fight against one of his play-mates and ultimately kills him. Then, he becomes the owner of a restaurant called the Eight Immortals that was property of the man he brutally killed. However, Wong killing spree doesn't stop there, and every time he has a problem he seems to be willing to solve it in the same way. Later on, as the police receive the report of some locals being missing, Wong becomes the main suspect in the events as all of the victims had a certain connection with his restaurant. Although Wong's got everything well planned and it doesn't seem to be any evidence connecting him with the victims, chief officer Lee thinks that Wong has more to tell than he's telling the police.

DR. LAMB


Dr. Lamb is a 1992 Hong Kong crime|horror film directed by Danny Lee and Hin Sing 'Billy' Tang, and starring Danny Lee, and Kent Cheng.

The film tells about a mentally unstable taxi driver, who after developing some gruesome pictures, is captured by the police. Soon after, the suspect is charged with cold blooded murder since it appears that all of the pictures depicting dead and tortured women are real.

Naraka 19 is a 2007 Hong Kong super natural thriller directed by Miu-suet Lai, and starring Gillian Chung, Vincy Chan, and Patrick Tam.

After one of her best friends mysteriously disappears, Rain receives an SMS on her cellphone asking her about the 19th Gate of Hell. It is not too long before she realizes that she is trapped inside a horrifying game in which her worst nightmares may come true. Rain becomes even more frightened, after she sees how the game players, including her friends, die after getting a "Game over!" message at different stages of the game. Soon, Rain discovers that in order to survive, she has to try her best to reach the final stage. Meanwhile, a friend of hers, who happens to be a detective, is following the case and he's getting closer to the culprits of the creation of the game.

THE THIRD EYE


The Third Eye is a 2006 Hong Kong suspense|drama film directed by Miu-suet Lai, and starring Race Wong, You-Nam Wong, and Kwok Cheung Tsang.

Zhang Liang is a young man who doesn't seem to be able to maintain any proper job. He moves into a rundown motel, and quietly installs surveillance equipment in some places. His secret hobby is to play with high-tech candid technology, especially to secretly take pictures of his neighbors. He likes to upload the photographs on the Internet where he can win points for the quality of his pictures. However, what he finds in his new home is a cast of seemingly normal but potentially dangerous characters, each of them with their own strange secrets.

KOMA


Koma is a 2004 Hong Kong thriller|drama film directed by Chi-Leung Law, and starring Angelica Lee, Kar Yan Lam, and Andy Hui Chi-On.

Right after Ching reports seeing a suspicious woman at the wedding of a friend, the police discover the body of a victim whose kidney has been removed. After identifying the suspect, Ching becomes the target of threatening phone calls. One day, she wakes up in an unknown place beside a woman named Ling who has just saved her life from the organ thieves. Soon Ching befriends Ling, but when things seem to be getting better, the phone calls start anew and both friends will find themselves immerse in a life or death situation.

FEAR FACTORS


Fear Factors is a 2007 Hong Kong thriller film directed by Mak Kai Gwon, Ally Wong, and Wang Tao-Nan; and starring Candy Lo, Shiu Hung Hui, Ken Chang, Tiffany Lee, and Terence yin. The film is divided in two totally different and unconnected short stories.

Subconscious
A man is kidnapped by a couple of siblings who left him in an empty building. When the man wakes up he realizes he is tied up and blindfolded, but doesn't remember anything about how he got there. He takes off the blindfold and notices a woman in the same room who is trying to reach a key that's outside the door. Both of them will try to escape out of there alive.

Crazy Analysis
Tin King has inherited a building from his recently deceased uncle. The only problem is that he has to spend the night at the place and it seems that there are a lot of crazy things going on in there.

BLACK NIGHT


Black Night (Hak Yae) is an Asian horror film co-written and diredted by Takahiko Akiyama, Tanit Jitnukul and Patrick Leung; and starring Annie Liu, Dylan Kuo, Takashi Kashiwabara, Asaka Seto, Pitchanart Sakakorn, and Athipan Chantapichai. The film is a Hong Kong, Japanese and Thai co-production. It is divided into three unrelated segments.

Next Door (Hong Kong): directed by Patrick Leung. Starring Annie Liu, Dylan Kuo Pin Chao, and Race Wong.
Jane returns home after three months and decides to look for her boyfriend, Joe. However, she soon discovers that he is having an affair with his beautiful next-door neighbor, Hosie. But there is something about Hosie that none of them knows and it's about to make their lives miserable.

Dark Hole (Japan): directed by Takahiko Akiyama. Starring Takashi Kashiwabara, Asaka Seto, and Tomorowo Taguchi.
Yuki has lately been suffering from terrifying nightmares. One day, a boy in a yellow poncho who appears in her nightmares makes himself present in her real life. After this event, flashbacks regarding Yuki's past begin to haunt her. Encouraged by Satoshi, her boyfriend, Yuki decides to finally go see a psychiatrist. Under her doctor's hypnosis, she starts to reveal about the secrets of her past, and the real reasons behind her nightmares.

The Lost Memory (Thailand): directed by Tanit Jitnukul. Starring Pitchanart Sakakorn, Kajonsak Ratananisai, and Nutsha Bootsri.
Prang, a single mother living with her son, lives in constant paranoia, after a car accident. To make things even worst, she keeps having visions of a strange woman. Later, she realizes the woman is her friend and decides to trace back her past and try to remember whatever happened before the accident.

THE UNBELIEVABLE


The Unbelievable is a 2009 Hong Kong shockumentary film directed by Chan Tat-Nin, and starring Rachel Chan Hiu-Wa and Szeto Six Ching.

The film is based on a popular Hong Kong TV program about paranormal activity around town and abroad. The film is a further exploration on the unseen and unexplainable events. It follows the film crew to mysterious locations in Thailand. What they never expected is how horrifying their journey would be. Their encounters of unexplained occurrences take them to face strange rituals all over Thailand. The crew is led by a renown parapsychologist, and their findings become so gruesome that they can barely bear them sometimes.

HAUNTED OFFICE


Haunted Office is a 2002 Hong Kong horror film directed by Marco Mak, and starring Karen Mok, Qi Shu, Jordan Chan, and Elena Kong.

The fill comprises three different stories about a series of mysterious deaths in an office building. At the beginning, a new office worker finds out the hard way why no one uses the last toilet in the ladies' restroom. Then, Ken must choose between two girls; however, one of them might be a ghost. Later, one of the oldest employees, Mary, is fired the day before her retirement, which means she will lose all her pension; but something odd is about to happen to her and her boss will pay for all his wrong deeds.

SHIVER


Shiver is a 2003 Hong Kong thriller/drama film directed by Siu-hung Chung, and starring Francis Ng, Nick Cheung, and Athena Chu.

After a near death experience, a woman falls into a coma. When she finally recovers, she finds herself being able to see strange figures and is constantly haunted by images of a dead woman she has no memory of knowing. In the meantime, her husband, who is a cop, is taunted by a particularly vicious serial killer.

THE EYE 10


The Eye 10 is a 2005 Hong Kong/Thai horror/comedy film directed by the Pang Brothers (Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang) and starring Isabella Leong, Bo-lin Chen, Ray MacDonald, Kate Yeung, Yu Gu, and Bongkoj Khongmalai. Despite the number 10 in its name, the film is actually the third installment in The Eye movie trilogy. The movie takes place after the events in The Eye and The Eye 2.

The film tells about five teenagers who come across and read a book titled The Ten Encounters, which explains 10 different methods for seeing the dead. Hence, the name of the film. While visiting a friend in Thailand, a group of youngsters from Hong Kong decide to play with Thai's beliefs about seeing the dead. Chongkwai, their Thai friend, shows them a mysterious book he bought that details ten ways to see spirits and all of them decide to follow the procedures. But when one of them vanishes, one of the girls tries to find him, and the rest prefer to run back to Hong Kong to escape a possible curse. But the spirits do not leave them and insist to play with them even back in their homeland. As the girl that stayed at Thailand is reported missing, the two youngsters who went back to Hong Kong decide to return to Thailand to try to stop seeing ghosts and find their missing friends.

THE EYE 2


The Eye 2 is a 2004 Hong Kong horror film directed by Danny Pang and Oxide Pang Chun, and starring Qi Shu, Eugenia Yuan, and Jesdaporn Pholdee. The film is the official sequel, although in name only, to the 2002 film The Eye.

During a visit in Thailand, Joey, a Hong Kong woman, decides to OD on pills but ends up going to the hospital and being saved. However, things are not really better for Joey now as according to Thai's beliefs, a person who tries to commit suicide is hunted by the spirits of the dead; and that's precisely what happens to Joey. When back in her native Hong Kong, Joey discovers she is pregnant, but when trying to get in touch with the baby's father, she doesn't get any answer. Besides all of her current problems, she also keeps seeing ghost everywhere, but more recurrently the spirit of a woman. After further investigation, Joey discovers that the spirit is that of her ex-boyfriend's wife and that there is a connection between the woman and her future baby.

Home Sweet Home is a 2005 Hong Kong thriller directed by Pou-Soi Cheang, and starring Qi Shu, Suet Lam, and Kar Yan Lam.

Immediately after May and her husband Ray buy a new house, they decide to move out. However, since the very first moment they move in to their new apartment, strange things seem to be happening all around them and specially around their young son. But is not until their son gets kidnapped that things become a real chaos for the family and both Ray and May will be on a race to try and get their young son back.

After a failed attempt to break a world record of most time under water, Lo Fei, a famous illusionist and sculptor decides to retire for a while. To be able to rest, he and his girlfriend go to the house of one of his friends outside town. But since the very first moment they arrive in the premises, strange things begin to happen around the couple. Later on, they meet their neighbors, who instead of being a reason to feel safe and accompanied, are rather more problematic and creepier than they appear.

THREE


Three (a.k.a. Three...Extremes II) is a 2002 Asian horror film. Despite its international name, the film is actually the original movie and predecessor in name and concept to the more famous Three...Extremes released in 2004. The movie consists of three segments directed by three different directors and in three different languages in the following order:
Memories, South Korean segment directed by Ji-woon Kim, and starring Hye-su Kim, Bo-seok Jeong, and Jeong-won Choi.
The Wheel, Thai segment directed by Nonzee Nimibutr, and starring Suwinit Panjamawat, Kanyavae Chatiawaipreacha, and Pornchai Chuvanon.
Going Home, Hong Kong segment directed by Peter Chan, and starring Leon Lai, Eric Tsang, and Eugenia Yuan.

MEMORIES
In the first short, a woman wakes up on a street and she is totally disoriented. She has no idea where she is and how to get back home. Meanwhile, a husband cannot remember why his wife left him and he has no idea what connections there are between her disappearance and his constant visions of a black haired creepy-looking woman.

THE WHEEL
After a Thai puppet master dies one of his disciples take over. Later one, he realizes that his master didn't die an ordinary death; he died because of a curse, a curse brought about by the improper ownership of ancient puppets. It seems that the puppets belong to their proper master, and whoever dares to claim them will suffer a horrible death.

GOING HOME
In Hong Kong a single father decides to move to a new apartment complex with his son. Since they first move, the young kid senses that there is something that's not quite right about their neighbors. After the little boy gets lost, his father decides to look for him only to end up being kidnap by a crazy neighbor who thinks he can resurrect his long since dead wife.
