AI NO KORÎDA

 Ai no Korida (a.k.a. In The Realm Of The Senses) is a 1976 Japanese drama film directed by Nagisa Ôshima, and starring Tatsuya Fuji, Eiko Matsuda, Aoi Nakajima, and Yasuko Matsui.

The film is the adaptation of a very famous incident that occurred in Japan, involving a woman named Sada Abe. The films revolves around the character of Abe and her intense affair with the owner of the hotels where she works at, Kichizo Ishida. The couple maintain an increasingly possessive and extreme relationship, to the point that Ishida starts to develop a strange obsession for being strangled during lovemaking with Abe.
