PANGGIL NAMAKU 3X

Panggil Namaku 3x (a.k.a. Say My Name 3x) is a 2005 Indonesian horror film directed by Koya Pagayo, and starring Hayria Lonton as Lara and Nita Ferlina as Sharon.

Lara is a very smart and somehow nerdy student, due to her simple appearance, she is always the target of the school's bullies, especially a girl named Sharon. One day, after being bullied and badly beaten by Sharon and her friends, Lara hears a voice that tells her to called upon the name Rosemary Marian three times, since she would help her get her revenge on the bullies.
After summoning Rosemary's spirit, Lara becomes more confident and decides to improved her appearance.
As the days pass, Lara becomes happier with the presence of Rosemary's spirit in her life; however, when the wicked spirit begins to take over, Lara finds out that Rosemary Marian is using her to fulfill her own revenge on her wrongdoers. Later, Lara will have to decide whether to help Rosemary or go back to her simple, nerdy life.

OUIJA

Ouija is a 2007 Filipino horror film directed by Topel Lee and starring Judy Ann Santos, Jolina Magdangal, Iza Calzado, and Rhian Ramos.

On the day the reunite to bury their grandmother, Aileen and Romina, along with their cousins Ruth and Sandra, decide to call upon the spirits of the dead with the help of their old Ouija board they found in their grandma's belongings. While performing the seance, the Ouija board is burned by accident, and the ritual remains unfinished. Soon after, the girls begin to experience strange visions as they all realize that they have brought an evil spirit upon themselves. Later on, Romina decides to ask a local shaman about the haunting and he tells her that they have to perform another session to summon the spirit again and thus, after they find out who it is, they will be able to destroy it and end their terror, since only by guiding the spirit to its burial ground the girls will finally be released from the fatal haunting.

DEATH BELL

Death Bell is a 2008 South Korean horror film co-written and directed by Chang, and starring Lee Beom-soo, Yoon Jeong-hee, and Nam Gyoo-ri as I-na.

All the elite students, twenty of them, are taking special classes for their college entrance exam. After one of them is almost strangled and disappears in the restroom's ceiling, the schools' TV screens switch to the image of one of the top-ranking student who is caged inside a fish tank that is being slowly filled with water. Later, a strange voice on the intercom announces that her life depends on the answers to an exam that students will have to pass, and that if they cannot answer, a student will die for every wrong answer they get. Trapped inside the school with the students, two teachers, the head teacher and the English are trying to keep students calmed while thinking of a solution to their problem. After some students continue disappearing, and eventually dying, I-na, one of the students, gets away from the group of students and manages to discover that they are being killed in order of their rank in the class, and she is going to be the fifth to be killed. It seems that all the current events are linked to the death of one of the top students who die two years ago. It is then I-na and the teachers' duty to help everybody get out of the school alive.

SUKOB

Sukob (a.k.a. The Wedding Curse) is a 2006 Filipino horror film written and directed by Chito Rono, and starring Kris Aquino and Claudine Barretto.

After coming back home, Sandy learns about Helen, and old friend, who even after her father died decided to proceed with her wedding. Some weeks later, Helen's husband dies in a plane crash, and then she dies in a bus accident while going to the crash place. Their bodies have never been recovered, not even Helen's mom who disappear from her house some days after her daughter's death. Sandy, who is about to get married, proceeds with her own wedding; but right before, and during the wedding a lot of weird things start happening around her, and she keeps seeing a ghostly flower girl. As she finds out later, she is not the only one who sees the girl, as her cousin, Joya, can see her too. Later, after the wedding, Sandy and her husband learn that the van in which two of their guest were going back home was involved in an accident. When Sandy and her husband get to the site, both the bodies of the victims have already disappear. Things turn to worse when Sandy receives her wedding photos, as some of the people, including the ones who died, are headless in the pictures. Soon, Sandy will realize that all the headless people in the photos are about to die and it will be the time for her and Joya to discover what dark family secret is linked to the deaths and the way to end the curse before it takes away all the people they love.

JU-REI

Ju-Rei (a.k.a. The Uncanny) is a 2004 Japanese horror film directed by Kôji Shiraishi.

The movie starts in chapter ten when a group of high school girls are dancing on an alley and after the practice one of them is distracted by a weird black figure; then, the rest of the girls start to see a pale woman kneeling right in front of their distracted friend unaware of what is about to happen to them. Then, in the following chapters the movie itself tells the story of how all the victims are related to one another and how, after discovering the truth about an urban legend of a black figure, a group of high school girls begin to die under mysterious circumstances. Then in the prologue the movie will tell who the black hooded figure that kills everybody who encounters is and how everything started.

SHINSEI TOIRE NO HANAKO-SAN

Shinsei Toire No Hanako-san (a.k.a. School Mystery) is a 1998 Japanese horror film directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi (2LDK), and starring Maya Hamaoka and Ai Maeda.

Satomi Kurahashi, a new student, takes her assigned seat during her fist day of school. Her friend, Kanae Sawaguchi has also been assigned to the same class. Soon after they enter, weird things begin to happen around the school, and the two friends learn about an incident that took place eleven years ago in the old school building, and that it revolves around and old legend of a girl named Hanako that haunts the school. As the girls learn more about the mystery, they realize that it is also linked to the disappearance of Satomi's sister eleven years ago. With the help of a substitute teacher, that happens to be a psychic too, the girls try to give and end to the terror inside the school before it claims more victims.

CURSE, DEATH & SPIRIT

Curse, Death & Spirit is a 1992 Japanese horror film directed by Hideo Nakata (Ringu, Dark Water). The movie is divided into three different stories: The Cursed Doll, The Spirit Of The Dead and The Haunted Inn.

The Cursed Doll: The story begins with a group of teenagers telling stories in a slumber party. When is time for Satomi to tell her story, she tells her friends a seemly true story about how she has been haunted by an evil doll. She says that she is being called by someone with a child's voice in her dreams. Once, after she followed the voice, it became apparent that the voice was coming from a doll that was hidden inside a box in a closet. Later on, Satomi's mother tells her that the doll has been in the family for some time; it will however, be revealed that the doll, in fact, has a spirit living within it. It will be up to Satomi to get rid of the evil spirit before she or her parents end up being hurt.

The Spirit of the Dead: After Takako's husband dies, she decides to take her son camping together with her best friend and her children. On their way to the river, Tanako finds a flier about a boy that disappear sometime before. Soon later, Takano's son, Yuta, starts seeing the spirit of a woman that calls him from within the waterfall. The ghost haunting Yuta is that of a woman that killed herself jumping off the top of the waterfall after losing her own son. It becomes apparent that the spirit thinks that Yuta is her child and is trying to kidnap him and kill him to take him with her. It is then Tanako's task to save her son from the evil spirit.

The Haunted Inn: Three girls who are on a vacation in a traditional Japanese inn start experimenting weird visions soon after their arrival on the inn. Yukari, one of the girls, seem to be haunted by a spirit, after finding a nailpolisher that she decides to put on. Unaware of the tragedy that happened at the inn some time before, the three girls find themselves in the presence of a spirit that is looking for some company.

DEAD GIRL WALKING

Dead Girl Walking is a 2004 Japanese horror short film directed by Koji Shiraishi and starring Ayaka Maeda, Moe Karasawa, and Yoshiyuki Morishita. The movie is the second of six short stories in a collection entitled Hideshi Hino's Theater of Horror that features different Japanese horror film directors.

After Sayuri is pronounced dead by her doctor, her body continues to function with her being able to talk and walk; however, she keeps slowly decomposing. When realizing that their daughter won't die, Sayuri's family attempts to burn her animated corpse, but she manages to run for her life. Later on, while wandering around, she meets a strange man who takes her prisoner and makes her perform at a freak show. Sayuri eventually escapes, but she doesn't get far as her parents find her and try to burn her again. She then flees again and finds refuge in an abandoned house where she hopes to finally rest in peace.

CURSED

Cursed is a 2004 Japanese horror film directed by Yoshihiro Hoshino, and starringKyôko Akiba, Yumeaki Hirayama,Takaaki Iwao and Hiroko Sato.

Nao Shingaki is a part-time worker at a convenience store that has a malevolent air. As she start experiencing weird visions, more awkward events begin to happen in the seemingly normal convenience store. Everything turns for the worse as Nao's co-worker, who she seems to care about, becomes very strange after an evil encounter with one of the costumers who was apparently faceless. Now she and a co-worker named Ryoko witness how all the world seem to be going mad around them as people start to suffer mysterious gruesome deaths. Totally overwhelmed by wicked curse surrounding the store, the girls decide they have to do something in order to survive the curse.

EKO EKO AZARAK I

Eko Eko Azarak (a.k.a. Wizard Of Darkness) is a 1995 Japanese supernatural horror film directed by Shimako Sato and starring Kimika Yoshino. This film is based on a popular horror manga by Shinichi Koga.

Right after Misa Kuroi, a seemly normal high-school student, arrives at her new school she starts being picked on by her classmates. Later on as some students are trying to cast a spell on the principal, Misa decides to show her real powers as a witch and cast the spell herself. However, right after the casting of the spell on the principal, everything begins to go all weird in the school and Misa has to deal with assumptions by her fellow classmates who believe her as the one behind it all.
Misa and twelve of her classmates are kept late after school as they have to retake an exam. Then, when darkness arrives, their teacher suddenly leaves the classroom and the entire school looks deserted. Since some students become desperate and anxious to go home, they decide to go out only to find themselves trapped inside the school with no trace of their teacher. As the time passes, one by one, the thirteen students start to suffer horrific deaths. It is then up to Misa and her few followers to try and stop the evil behind everything before it is too late.

EVIL TWIN

Evil Twin is a 2007 South Korean film directed by Kim Ji-hwan and starring Park Sin-hye.

The film is set during the Chosun Dynasty. After awakening from a ten year coma, So-yeon discovers that the accident claimed the life of her twin sister. It seems that while running around with a group of other kids, Hyo-jin and her twin sister So-yeon fell into the lake, and despite her efforts, their mother could only save So-yeon.
Soon after So-yeon starts her recovery, a series of mysterious deaths begin to take place around the village and some of her neighbors are sure that she has something to do with the killings. While she fights to recover her memory, So-yeon realizes that people around her seem to like more her sister than her, and it looks like it is due to her being the one that used to mistreat people in the past. Despite her quiet position about all the happenings around her, So-yeon's mother appears to know more than she seems to know and her more dark secrets will soon be revealed.

CHERMIN

Chermin (a.k.a. Mirror) is a 2007 Malaysian horror film written and directed by Zarina Abdullah, and starring Natasha Hudson and Deanna Yusoff.

While driving in her car, Nasrin gets herself into a car accident. Seconds before, she had seen someone seating in the backseat which caused her going off of the road. Later on, after awakening in the hospital with a big disfiguring scar, Nasrin breaks up her fiancé Yusuf as she doesn't feel confident of her new appearance.
Soon after, her mother discovers an old mirror that apparently belonged to Nasrin's grandfather's first wife. It seems that the mirror is not ordinary; it looks like there is a spirit trapped inside it that is taking over Nasrin and makes her see what she wants to see. Nasrin then becomes obsessed by the mirror and starts acting as if she was in some kind of possession. It is later revealed that the spirit is in fact Mastura's, Nasrin's grandfather's first wife, and she is in search of an unsatisfied need for blood and revenge. As the efforts to get rid of the evil spirit begins, Mastura does her best to break free of the mirror that holds her and take possession of Nasrin's body forever.

WAG KANG LILINGON

Wag Kang Lilingon (a.k.a. Don't Look Back) is a 2006 Filipino horror film directed by Jerry Lopez Sinengneng and Quark Henares, and starring Anne Curtis and Kristine Hermosa.

Wag Kang Lilingon is divided into two stories: Uyayi and Salamin; however, at the end of the second segment, both stories are connected through a common character.

In Uyayi (Lullaby), a Filipino hospital has become famous due to the death of some of its male patients. Concerned about the incidents at the hospital, Melissa, one of the nurses, together with her boyfriend James, try to find out who the killer is and thus end the increasing number of deaths among the patients. Soon after, the segment will come to an end unveiling the apparent murderer and then the second part starts.

In Salamin (Mirror), a three member family, all females, a mother and her two daughters finally find a place to stay and call home in the rural provinces. Their new house is an old style colonial building that hasn't been inhabited for some years. Right after the three women enter their home the mother, Rosing, senses a strange smell of blood, but they don't pay much attention to it. Later on, Angel, the eldest daughter, discovers an old mirror in the basement; then she tells her young sister an old story that says that if you make a wish in front of a mirror at midnight by the candlelight you can be told the future and whomever you will marry. But instead of being told her future, Angel opens a portal to unleash spirits. As the story progresses, the three women will experience pure terror as they become haunted by ghosts.

The connection: the ending of the movie happens to work as the epilogue to Salamin and a prologue to Uyayi.

THE DOLL MASTER

Inhyeongsa (a.k.a. The Doll Master) is a 2004 South Korean film directed by Jeong Yong-ki and starring Lim Eun-kyeong, and Kim Yoo-mi.

Five people are invited to be models for dolls at a remote place where the sculptor is waiting for them. There they meet the doll maker who is a strange woman in a wheelchair. The five visitors soon find that they all came mysteriously from the same village. After they all are introduced to the artist and owner of the huge house, one by one, each of the young visitors is mysteriously killed. However, the last survivors manage to find out the truth about the mysterious dolls that inhabit the house.

SEXUAL PARASITE: KILLER PUSSY

Sexual Parasite: Killer Pussy is a 2004 Japanese horror/Pinku Eiga film directed by Takano Nakano.

A group of explorers travel to the jungle in Botswana, Africa, in search of a mysterious creature. What they find however, is a fish-like creature that according to the natives is very dangerous; the explorers then decide to store it inside a foam cooler. When the witchdoctor of a local tribe discovers that the scientists are trying to take the creature away, he becomes very angry and tries to attack and kill the creature, this causes one of the researchers, a woman, to sit on the cooler to protect the animal. All of a Sudden, the creature breaks through the cooler entering the woman’s body, apparently through her genitalia.

One year later, while driving around, a group of teenagers arrive on an abandoned building in the middle of a Japanese forest where they find a frozen woman inside a freezer. The woman happens to be the researcher that was attacked by the creature in the jungle, but the teens don't seem to care about the woman and leave her in the freezer. Later on, one of the girls is taking a bath inside a hot tub and is approached by the now unfrozen researcher who enters the tub and attacks the girl releasing a tadpole-like creature inside her mouth. Now infected and possessed by a parasite, the girl goes back to re-join her friends. But, the parasite uses her body to kill via sexual intercourse and attempt to spread its offspring to others.
