SILK

Silk is a 2006 Taiwanese horror film directed by Chao-Bin Su, and starring Chen Chang, Yôsuke Eguchi, and Kar Yan Lam.

In Taipei, a group of scientists lead by a Japanese scientist named Hashimoto, are using his invention called Menger Sponge to capture the spirit of a child in an old apartment building. The researchers are later joined by a specialist in reading lips, detective Tung, who comes to the team to try to understand the movements of the lips of the young boy's ghost. Hashimoto, on his side, is trying to discover why the energy of the ghost does not dissipate and leave this world; meanwhile, Tung gets more and more involved in discovering the identity and the dramatic story of the boy, why and how he died.
