4BIA

4bia (a.k.a. Phobia) is a 2008 Thai horror film directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun, Banjong Pisanthanakun, Parkpoom Wongpoom, and Paween Purikitpanya; and starring Laila Boonyasak, Pongsatorn Jongwilak, Maneerat Kham-uan, Kantapat Permpoonpatcharasuk, Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, Witawat Singlampong, and Chon Wachananon. The film is an anthology divided into four short films directed by four different directors.

Happiness; directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun: The first short fill tells about a young woman, who after a car accident is stuck in her apartment with a cast on her leg. The girl communicates with the outside world via text messages. One day, she begins to receive text messages from a stranger, who seems friendly enough and wants to become friends with her. After the stranger decides to share pictures with the girl, things become really spooky and she will end up crying for survival.

Tit for Tat; directed by Paween Purikitpanya: The second story is a tale of black magic and vengeance. A young boy is constantly bullied by a school gang but the payback time will eventually come and the bullies will be sorry for their deeds.

In The Middle; directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun: While camping on a remote camping around a lonely jungle, four young men begin to tell ghost stories to entertain themselves. However, after some minutes, one of them becomes frightened by their own stories. Eventually, they begin to fight over who gets to sleep in the middle of the tent as they believe, is the safest and most secure spot to sleep; at least, that is what they think.

The Last Flight; directed by Parkpoom Wongpoom: In the fourth tale, Pim, a flight attendant, goes on a charter flight for a princess. But, what was supposed to be an ordinary flight turns into a tragedy as the princess develops an allergic reaction to some shrimp she ate. After her royal house requests that her body needs to be repatriated for her funeral, Pim is required to remain on the plane and escort the body, who is, by the way, the only passenger on the return flight.
