BATTLE ROYALE II: REQUIEM


Battle Royale II: Requiem (BRII) is a 2003 Japanese action/thriller directed by Kenta Fukasaku/Kinji Fukasaku, and starring Tatsuya Fujiwara, Ai Maeda, Shugo Oshinari, Ayana Sakai, Haruka Suenaga, Yuma Ishigaki, and Miyuki Kanbe. The movie is the sequel to the 2000 controversial film Battle Royale.

Three years have past after the events in Battle Royale; Shuya Nanahara, the survivor of the firts BR is now a well-known terrorist with only one thing in mind bringing down the adults. To find and annihilate the so-called terrorists, the adults order the creation of the Battle Royale II program. To accomplish their mission, they send a class of junior-high students to catch and kill Nanahara and all of his allies. However, when the BRII team meets Nanahara and his comrades, they discover what his real plans are and decide to join him in his crusade. Of the forty new members who entered the island, only a few get to join Nanahara and his Wild Seven.
