The Fatality is a 2009 thriller film; it is a Thai/Taiwanese co-production directed by Tiwa Moeithaisong, and starring Kenji Wu, Pitchanart Sakhakorn, Matt Wu, Somlek Sakikul, and Sam Lee.
A mentally unstable 30 year old Taiwanese man decides to kill himself only to wake up out of a coma in a small hospital in Thailand. Upon waking up, the man discovers he is in somebody else's body and a woman bedside him calling him Assanee. But that's not his real name. Soon he realizes he can speak Mandarin and English but doesn't understand a word of Thai. Despite the inconvenient, his new life seems perfect as he now has a stable job, a healthy body and a beautiful wife. But it is not his own life and his own body and it won't take too long until the two souls start to fight for the control of the body. As Sue Yong explores more on Assanee's life, he starts developing some sort of unnatural powers over life and death.
