Kuntilanak Kamar Mayat is a 2009 Indonesian horror film directed by Nayato Fio Nuala, and starring Uwie Jasmine, Julia Pérez, Rizky Mocil, and Imelda Lubis.

Andini has constant dreams of her sister Miranda who works as a nurse at a hospital. Her sadness grows stronger and her dreams turn into nightmares. As Andini starts searching information about her sister, she finds out that she had a little fight with, Idra, a doctor from the same hospital right after she told him she was pregnant with his baby. It also seems that Sarah, the doctor's fiancee, is also being haunted by creepy apparitions. As everybody becomes even more worried about Miranda, Idra decides to start looking for her to. It seems that there is a weird connection between Sarah's and Andini's nightmares and visions and Miranda's disappearance.

DEAD WAVES


Dead Waves is a 2005 Japanese horror film directed by Yôichirô Hayama, and starring Toshihiro Wada, Kanji Furutachi, Miho Hirata, Akiko Esaki, and Shihori Kanjiya.

While trying to increase their ratings for a paranormal TV show, the producers come across a man who insists on having his sister exorcised. To combat their low ratings, the producers visit the siblings' residence and perform an exorcism on the young woman but the procedure goes horribly wrong as some strange things begin to happen. Meanwhile one of the producers receives some information regarding Dead Waves signals from malign spirits that combine with television waves. Based on his investigations, and with the aid of a psychiatrists, he begins to believe in the existence of the waves when he realizes that increased numbers of local suicides, including that of his ex-girlfriend, coincide with his show.

THE GIRLS REBEL FORCE OF COMPETITIVE SWIMMERS


The Girls Rebel Force Of Competitive Swimmers is a 2007 Japanese horror/zombie film directed by Kôji Kawano, and starring Mizuka Arai, Sasa Handa, Yuria Hidaka, and Hiromitsu Kiba.

The young and beautiful Aki is new to an all-girl school. As soon as she arrives, she is asked to join the swimming team as they are preparing for a competition, and one of the members has just quit. But during this first day for Aki, there is also a new epidemic disease spreading around school for which all the girls are supposed to get vaccinated in order to keep everybody from being infected. As the doctors and teachers begin to vaccinate all the girls against the disease, the epidemic breaks out and all those who get infected, suddenly mutate into man-eating zombies. Aki seems to be the only one to know what's going, and decides to organize a defense posse with the aid of the girls from the swim team.

HANTU JAMU GENDONG


Hantu Jamu Gendong is a 2009 Indonesian horror film directed by Koya Pagayo and starring Julia Pérez, Dimas Aditya, and Fendi Trihartanto.

A young woman who is desired by many men around her small town disappeared one day without a trace. Now her spirit wanders in the area, scaring everybody. It is also said, that if people go around the area with an egg in a glass saying Jamu Ne, she would appear. Kafka, a young student, who is rather skeptic about the whole story, starts seeing the ghastly images after one of his friends died apparently haunted by the ghost. Even his friends Meisya and Andi get to experience the wrath of the spirit. It seems that it is up to Kafka to go out and solve the mystery of the ghost and her reasons to be haunting them.

BATTLE ROYALE II: REQUIEM


Battle Royale II: Requiem (BRII) is a 2003 Japanese action/thriller directed by Kenta Fukasaku/Kinji Fukasaku, and starring Tatsuya Fujiwara, Ai Maeda, Shugo Oshinari, Ayana Sakai, Haruka Suenaga, Yuma Ishigaki, and Miyuki Kanbe. The movie is the sequel to the 2000 controversial film Battle Royale.

Three years have past after the events in Battle Royale; Shuya Nanahara, the survivor of the firts BR is now a well-known terrorist with only one thing in mind bringing down the adults. To find and annihilate the so-called terrorists, the adults order the creation of the Battle Royale II program. To accomplish their mission, they send a class of junior-high students to catch and kill Nanahara and all of his allies. However, when the BRII team meets Nanahara and his comrades, they discover what his real plans are and decide to join him in his crusade. Of the forty new members who entered the island, only a few get to join Nanahara and his Wild Seven.

JU-ON: OLD LADY IN WHITE


Ju-On: Old Lady In Black is a 2009 Japanese horror film directed by Ryûta Miyake, and starring Akina Minami, Hiroki Suzuki, Mihiro, Aimi Nakamura, and Marika Fukunaga. The Film is the sixth installment in the Ju-On series that started in 2000.

Once again creepy things begin to happen in the suburbs and strange visions appear everywhere. This time the events take place at a seemingly familiar house, where five members of a family are brutally and methodically murdered. It is later known that the assassin also killed himself, leaving behind a cassette recorder at the scene on which he can be heard saying, that he will come back, and some other phrases in unison with a strange female voice. It is later revealed that voice belongs to a victim of the family massacre, his young sister and a very close friend of a girl named Akane, who has a strong sense of the supernatural. Seven years after the events, Akane begins seeing visions of a female ghost wearing a yellow hat and red satchel. Some other people around the city, also experiment creepy visions but this time is an old lady in white who seems to be lurking in the dark.

THE HOUSE


The House is a 2007 Thai film directed by Monthon Arayangkoon and starring Intira Jaroenpura, Chutcha Rujinanon, and Chamanun Wanwinwatsara.

Chalinee, a young reporter, inspired by true story of three horrible homicides that happened to three women in different times, decides to find out the truth of the mysterious murder cases. She intensively starts searching for clues until finally arriving at the house where the crimes started. The house she discovers is the same house where three women were killed by their lovers. Soon after Chalinee steps inside the house, weird things begin to happen and she senses that there is someone or something following her everywhere she goes. What Chalinee does not know is that she will end up being more involved in the cases that she would have ever imagined.

DUMPLINGS


Dumplings is a 2004 Hong Kong horror/drama film directed by Fruit Chan, and starring Miriam Yeung, Bai Ling, and Tony Leung Ka Fai. The film is an expansion from a short segment in the 2004 horror compilation Three...Extremes.

As in the original short, the film tells about an old retired actress who finds a woman who sells some sort of special dumplings that are said to help you rejuvenate. Even though the woman finds out what the dumplings are made of and the gruesome secret behind them, she continues to consume them and finally enjoys their taste. At the end, her hunger for youth and beauty will take her to the limits of sanity.

4BIA


4bia (a.k.a. Phobia) is a 2008 Thai horror film directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun, Banjong Pisanthanakun, Parkpoom Wongpoom, and Paween Purikitpanya; and starring Laila Boonyasak, Pongsatorn Jongwilak, Maneerat Kham-uan, Kantapat Permpoonpatcharasuk, Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, Witawat Singlampong, and Chon Wachananon. The film is an anthology divided into four short films directed by four different directors.

Happiness; directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun: The first short fill tells about a young woman, who after a car accident is stuck in her apartment with a cast on her leg. The girl communicates with the outside world via text messages. One day, she begins to receive text messages from a stranger, who seems friendly enough and wants to become friends with her. After the stranger decides to share pictures with the girl, things become really spooky and she will end up crying for survival.

Tit for Tat; directed by Paween Purikitpanya: The second story is a tale of black magic and vengeance. A young boy is constantly bullied by a school gang but the payback time will eventually come and the bullies will be sorry for their deeds.

In The Middle; directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun: While camping on a remote camping around a lonely jungle, four young men begin to tell ghost stories to entertain themselves. However, after some minutes, one of them becomes frightened by their own stories. Eventually, they begin to fight over who gets to sleep in the middle of the tent as they believe, is the safest and most secure spot to sleep; at least, that is what they think.

The Last Flight; directed by Parkpoom Wongpoom: In the fourth tale, Pim, a flight attendant, goes on a charter flight for a princess. But, what was supposed to be an ordinary flight turns into a tragedy as the princess develops an allergic reaction to some shrimp she ate. After her royal house requests that her body needs to be repatriated for her funeral, Pim is required to remain on the plane and escort the body, who is, by the way, the only passenger on the return flight.

EVIL DEAD TRAP


Evil Dead Trap is a 1988 Japanese horror film directed by Toshiharu Ikeda and starring Miyuki Ono, Aya Katsuragi, and Hitomi Kobayashi.

A late night show hostess named Nami receives a video tape for her program; it appears to be a real snuff film shot in the same city as her show. Nami and her crew decide to investigate the location and the truth behind the tape. They embark on a journey towards the place where Nami meets a naive looking-man who is searching for his brother. Even though the man warns her to stay away, Nami decides to keep investigating in the place. However, as she gets closer to unveil the truth, she and her friends are subjected to a brutal nightmare and all of them begin to be killed one by one. At the end, only Nami will stay alive to try and solve the mystery.

ARANG


Arang is a 2006 South Korean horror film directed by Ahn Sang-hoon, and starring Kim Hae-in, Jeong Won-joong, Song Yoon-ah, and Lee Dong-wook.

So-young a young detective is back on duty after being suspended for some time due to an incident involving a suspect. She is assigned a rookie detective as her new partner. Their first case together is an incendiary homicide case. While Hyun-gi, the young new partner, is all the time goofing around and distracting So-young, she, on the other hand, senses that there is something wrong in the case as it seems that there is something else involved. Later on, they discover that their current case is somehow related to the mysterious death of a girl ten years ago. Now, So-young starts to experience weird nightmares in which a girl in white appears before her. As the serial killings continue, So-young is hinted towards a common pattern in the cases which will eventually uncover a much horrible secret.

GROTESQUE


Grotesque is a 2009 Japanese horror film directed by Kôji Shiraishi, and starring Hiroaki Kawatsure, Tsugumi Nagasawa, and Shigeo Ôsako.

The film tells the story of Kazuo and Aki who, after having a nice conversation at a Tokyo cafe, are followed and ultimately kidnapped by a sadistic psychopath. Some hours later, after they were hit in the back of their head and went unconscious, Aki and Kazuo wake up at a barely lit room. They find themselves tied up and gagged, with no idea about what will happen to them or how they got there. Later on, a weird looking guy appears in the room armed with a set of power tools. Aki and Kazuo's nightmare is about to begin and there is nothing they can do to dodge their fate.

ALL NIGHT LONG


All Night Long is a 1992 Japanese exploitation film directed by Katsuya Matsumura; and starring Eisuke Tsunoda, Ryôsuke Suzuki, and Yôji Ietomi. The film is the first installment in the original All Night Long movie trilogy.

Right after witnessing the brutal murder of a high school girl, three young men find themselves united by this event and become friends. Just after the events, they decide to make a party to celebrate their success in getting rid of the assassin. But later on, their joy becomes a thirst for blood and vengeance, as a local gang of thugs rape and kill one of the friend's newly-found girlfriend. The three friends decide to take justice in their own hands for which they plan to use extreme violence.
