A Wicked Ghost III: The Possession is a 2002 Hong Kong film directed by and starring Gigi Lai Chin, Tat-Ming Cheung, Patrick Keung, Yiu-Cheung Lai, and Grace Lam. The Film is the final installment in the A Wicked Ghost trilogy that started in 1999.
During the shooting of a new horror film, crew member May is assigned to search for a new location and she eventually finds an abandoned building that seems just right for their film. However, in the eerie house, she finds an ancestor post during an outdoor shooting in the location, but she decides not to pay much attention to it and just continue with her job. To avoid problems with spirits, and damages on the relic, she takes it with her an place it inside the house; but instead of being for the better, she causes weird things to happen and her friends either start to die or get involved in serious accidents with terrible injuries. Finally, after further investigations, May realizes that the spirit is connected to the ancestor post she found and is trying to lead her to her own death. In order to survive, May needs to stop the spirit's curse before it is too late for her.
