Ichi The Killer is a 2001 Japanese film directed Takashi Miike. The movie stars Tadanobu Asano, Nao Omori as Ichi, Shinya Tsukamoto, and Alien Sun.
A boss of one of the Yakuza gangs is killed and his fellow gangsters start looking for the assassin. They are told that a guy named Ichi is behind everything and they decide to find him and kill him before he ends up killing everybody in the gangs.
Ichi is just a trouble-minded guy who became assassin due to his confusing memories of a rape and the constant manipulations of his apparently close friends. Kakihara, the guy with the scarred face, and Ichi will soon meet to give and end to this stylistic, gruesome and yet hilarious plot full of blood, guts and gross-outs everywhere.
