SUICIDE MANUAL

Suicide Manual is a 2003 Japanese film directed by Fukutani Osamu, and starring Chisato Morishita, Hideo Sakaki, Kenji Mizuhashi and Yûko Nakamura

The movie is centered around a small TV station's cameraman named Yū and his assistant Rie, who are sent by their boss to investigate a case of a group suicide in which four people poisoned themselves with carbon monoxide.
Yu and Rie start to investigate the reasons behind the seemly endless cycle of suicides. It appears that everything is linked to a DVD containing a manual with examples of the "best methods" to kill yourself and demonstrations by real people. In a further investigation, Yu and Rie find out that in Buddhist beliefs, when a person commits suicide, their spirits wander around the world possessing others and pushing them to commit suicide. However, is this what is really happening, or is there anything beyond?
